There is a realm between reality and fiction where things start floating. It all depends on the little details whether they tend towards the one or the other.
These ‘abandoned public library buildings’ are a good example. Everything is virtual here and yet there is almost nothing that would stop you from thinking it’s a real building.
This works with certain types of images better than with others. More complex architecture still generates quirkiness, perhaps just a matter of training until AI has ‘understood’ Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture.
